Joining the Choir

Come along to a rehearsal and see if you want to join the society. There is no audition and you do not have to be able to read music.

Rehearsals are held in the United Reformed Church, Castleford on Wednesday evenings from 7 30 to 9 30. The church is situated next door to Wilkinsons on Carlton Street and Back Bank Street. Rehearsals take place in an upstairs room. The door to access this room is in Back Bank Street.

 

 

Back Bank Street is the one way street to the right of the church.

Cars are parked in the church's private car park and on Back Bank Street. A car guard is employed at a cost of 60p each and this is collected at the refreshments break in rehearsal.

 

 

The Society operates in 3 terms from September to the end of July, with breaks for holidays.

 

The membership costs are:

£15 per term

£13 for senior citizens

£5 for junior members
